Over the years, the name Ronin has become a huge part of my identity. Initially, I chose it for my music production and DJ-ing because a ronin is a masterless samurai—someone who forges their own path. Just like that, I’ve always felt I’ve been charting my own course, whether it's in music or gaming. The name stuck with me, and now it represents not only my creative side but also my approach to life and gaming.
My gaming journey started with the NES, playing classics like Duck Hunt and Robocop. But it wasn’t until I got my SNES at the age of 4 that I truly fell in love with gaming. That system changed everything for me. From there, I never looked back—whether it was playing on a PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or even
mobile games.
Gaming has always been more than just a hobby for me. It became an escape, a way to lose myself in these different worlds and forget about the everyday. I loved the thrill of split-screen gaming with friends back in the day, and I’ve watched as gaming evolved into the online, social experience it is now.
When people ask me to pick a favorite game, it’s tough because I’ve played so many over the years. But if I had to choose, Resident Evil would be at the top of my list. The tension, the atmosphere, and the gameplay—it all clicks for me.
Following close behind are Fallout and Hypercharge: Unboxed. I love getting lost in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout, and Hypercharge brings a unique multiplayer experience that I can’t get enough of. These games reflect my love for both immersive RPGs and fast-paced shooters.
When it comes to genres, I’m all about FPS, RPGs, and horror. There’s something about the intensity of a great first-person shooter mixed with the deep storytelling of RPGs that keeps me hooked. And horror—man, that genre always gets me. Whether it's the jump scares or the feeling of being completely immersed in a world of fear, horror games have always been a big draw for me.
I’ve seen gaming evolve so much since my early days. Back then, it was all about split-screen multiplayer on systems like the NES and SNES. I loved those days—sitting with friends in the same room, competing head-to-head. But as technology evolved, so did my love for gaming. The internet and crossplay features opened up a whole new world of social interaction and connection. Now, gaming is not just about playing; it’s about sharing experiences with people from all over the world.
I started streaming because I wanted to share my love for gaming with others. I know that when I play, there are always moments—whether they’re good, bad, funny, or shocking—that I want to share. Streaming lets me do that, while also giving people the chance to experience new games. I want to help viewers decide if a game is for them, whether it’s through showing gameplay, giving my opinion, or interacting with them in real-time.
For me, streaming is about building connections. I want to create a space where I can teach someone something new or, better yet, learn from others while having a good time. It’s all about bringing people together and sharing those memorable gaming moments.
In five years, I hope to have built something special—a community where gamers can come together, interact, and have fun. I’d love to create a more interactive experience for my viewers, maybe even organize competitions or offer prizes. It’s not just about gaming for me; it’s about giving back to the community that supports me.
My ultimate goal is to grow as a streamer, a gamer, and a person. If I can help others on their streaming journeys or give back to the gaming community in any way, that’s a win for me. And who knows where Ronin will go from here? One thing’s for sure—I’m just getting started, and the best is yet to come.
