The Journey Danny: From def jam fight for NY

When I was a kid, I came up with my gamer tag Kingawsome with the dream of being the “king of awesome”—even if I didn’t quite know how to spell “awesome” back then. The name stuck, and it’s been part of my identity ever since. I think of it as a reminder of that childhood goal to be the best and stand out in the gaming world.

The First Game: Halo: Combat Evolved
The first game I ever played was Halo: Combat Evolved, and it hooked me right from the start. That game had everything—a powerful story, epic battles, and a multiplayer mode that was unforgettable. I still remember the excitement of jumping into each match, testing my reflexes, and feeling like I was part of something much bigger. Halo introduced me to the world of FPS games, a genre that has become my favorite over the years.

My favorite game of all time has to be Def Jam. There’s something so unique and gritty about it, a game that stands out for its unforgettable style and energy. Right after Def Jam, my second and third favorites are Army of Two and GTA: San Andreas. Each of these games holds a special place for me, whether it’s the intense teamwork in Army of Two or the open-world freedom of San Andreas. These games bring back a lot of memories and remind me of how gaming has evolved.

My gaming journey started because of my brothers. Gaming was a way for us to bond, share experiences, and challenge each other. Every game we played brought us closer and gave us something to enjoy together, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since. There’s something about competing and collaborating with family that makes gaming even more meaningful to me.

I decided to start streaming because I noticed that not many people were streaming the games I enjoy, especially older titles. By streaming, I can showcase these classic games, sharing their excitement and nostalgia with others. I hope that through my streams, more people will recognize how good these games are and maybe even get inspired to play them themselves.

In five years, I see myself still playing, mostly sticking with old-school games like Def Jam that are timeless to me. My goal is to build a community that shares my appreciation for these classics and to introduce a new generation to their magic. If I can make people recognize and celebrate these games, then I’ll know I’ve achieved something real with my streaming journey.
